Since 2017, the pan-African gathering that trains, connects and supports agripreneurs.

Who we are

AgroTour International is a programme of agrotourism, agribusiness and entertainment activities built on a scientific foundation. Launched in 2017 by Hope Land Congo, it brings together young entrepreneurs working in agricultural and food technologies, giving them a space to meet, reflect and open up many opportunities in agribusiness.

Our Mission

To support young African entrepreneurs in discovering and learning the methods and techniques of innovation-driven agricultural entrepreneurship, so as to strengthen their expertise and know-how in the sector, meet the challenges of sustainable development and contribute to inclusive growth in agriculture.

Our Objective

AgroTour International sets out to gather, train, inform, guide and mentor young Africans in agricultural entrepreneurship focused on innovation and ecology, through an agrotourism and engaging approach, so as to equip them with the many skills needed to contribute to food security and the sustainable development of Africa as a whole, and of their own communities in particular.

Target Audience

Entrepreneur

An innovative, driven person who starts and runs a business. They take calculated risks to develop new ideas, marshal resources and take responsibility for the results. The entrepreneur is central to economic vitality, creating jobs and spurring growth.

Employee

A person who works across the industry, whether in production, processing, marketing or management. They contribute to the food chain by growing crops, raising livestock, processing agricultural produce or providing essential services. Their role is fundamental to keeping food available and the agricultural sector running.

Farmer

A person who works the land, raises animals and runs a farm. Their life is devoted to food production, from choosing crops to managing herds. They must be versatile, combining management, agricultural technique and decision-making.

Enthusiast

Someone deeply invested in farming, driven by a love of and dedication to the land, crops and livestock. They devote their time to understanding the challenges and opportunities of agriculture, always seeking to learn, to share what they know and to contribute to sustainable farming.

Researcher

A scientist who specialises in studying and developing innovative agricultural methods, technologies and practices. Their aim is to improve the productivity, sustainability and resilience of farming systems, contributing to global food security and to protecting the environment.
